Welcome to my Feltmaking Studio.
My aim in writing these pages is to show you what’s going on here. You’ll see what I’m making, what new fabrics I’m trying out, and what techniques I’m using. There will be lots of tips to pick up, information about what’s happening in the world of textiles and a look at other interesting maker, eco-businesses and textiles people in Shropshire.
You’ll also hear thoughts from me about our relationship to fabrics, fibres and the clothes we wear in a world threatened by climate change.
I’ll introduce you to some of the wonderful people who come here to teach and to learn.
Hopefully, I can inspire you to become more of a maker and less of a consumer.
